Tiffany Ball 

Tiffany is placed with the Mid North Coast Local Health District. Her first rotation is within the Communications Directorate in the Integrated Multi Media Unit. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Audio Production from SAE Byron Bay along with a Graduate Certificate in Health Service Management (Safety and Quality) from University of Tasmania. 

Tiffany has a strong interest in health literacy and health advocacy. With over a decade of experience in Health Administration in both public and private settings, Tiffany is looking forward to nurturing her managerial and leadership skills in order to help her leave a positive imprint on Australia’s Health Care System. 

Outside of work Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, road trips and walking her two dogs in nature.
 

Curtis Dickson

Curtis is placed at the Agency for Clinical Innovation, where his first rotation is with the clinical implementation team.

Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science (Paramedicine) and has experience providing emergency response within the community as a registered paramedic in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. He is also a type one diabetic and has experience providing diabetes education and training sessions that aim to build capacity and resilience in families with newly diagnosed children.

Through his work and experience, Curtis has been exposed to a wide range of disadvantaged populations within the community. He aims to combine learnings from the HMIP with his clinical paramedic experience and lived experience as a type one diabetic to increase his impact in creating innovative and sustainable change within healthcare.

Ted (Htet Aung) Kyaw

Ted is placed at Justice Health Forensic and Mental Health Network. His first rotation is with the Performance and Strategy team under the Performance and Planning directorate, where he is enjoying being involved in the development of the new Clinical Service Plan for Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network in his first rotation.

He arrived to Australia in 2009 and graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2012. He started working as a new-grad mental health nurse for NSW Health in 2013, and since then, he has worked in various mental health settings in public hospitals within NSW. By joining this program, he hopes to gain more in-depth knowledge about the Australian Healthcare System and learn from experienced health leaders. 

Outside of work, he enjoys watching English Premier League football matches and going to scenic lookouts. 

Olivia Sice

Olivia is placed with the Far West Local Health District and based in Broken Hill, where her first rotation is within the office of the Chief Executive. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Nursing from UNISA and is committed to excellent remote health service delivery that provides high quality person centred culturally safe and respectful care across our communities in the Far West.   

Having worked as a Registered Nurse in many areas in rural, regional and base hospitals for over 12 years, Olivia has a broad understanding of healthcare access and delivery in the rural and remote setting.

Over the two year program Olivia hopes to gain as much knowledge as possible to be an effective and passionate leader, promote awareness and advocate for our communities, to effect positive change and strongly promote healthcare and patient equality. Olivia wants to lead by example, empathy and compassion, staying true to her ‘girl from the bush’ roots with a strong focus on collaboration. 

Outside of work Olivia is a mother to 4 who loves to travel with the family in the caravan seeing our own backyard, and has a love of animals, gardening and being in the outdoors.
 

Kelly Zhou

Kelly is placed with Nous Group, an international management consulting firm with extensive experience and involvement in Health. Her first rotation of projects involve strategic evaluations and implementing change management for a significant NSW Health organisation (which cannot be named for client confidentiality reasons). 

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiography) and a Master of Management from the University of Sydney. She has had clinical experience in various radiology clinics and has a strong passion for education, having worked as a consultant in education strategy. Having already attained an Honourable Mention as a Nouser of the Month nominee, she is excited to continue working with her esteemed and dedicated colleagues to drive positive change and long-standing impact for the community. 

Kelly is appreciative of the opportunities that come attached to being in the Health Management program and is eager to leverage her knowledge accumulated from her all components of the program into practice. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys continuing her former ballet training for leisure, playing music and reading.
