Situated in the picturesque Upper Murray region, Corryong Health is a Multi-Purpose Service providing a comprehensive range of hospital, residential aged care, medical and primary health and community support services, including a Medical Clinic, Health and Fitness Centre, home based CHPS/NDIS services and Retirement Village.
Corryong Heath has a long and proud history of servicing its community and with an operating budget of around $17 million it is the largest regional employer in the Upper Murray area with a staff of approximately 160 dedicated employees, and delivering over 35,000 occasions of service. The Board is seeking to appoint a talented and visionary leader to become its new Chief Executive Officer.
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for providing high quality health services that are cost-effective and responsive to government policy direction and community needs. Engaging collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the CEO will identify and leverage opportunities with a focus on providing outstanding client-centred care and services and driving an organisational culture that is respectful and cooperative with highly engaged employees.
To be considered for this outstanding career opportunity, you will be have demonstrated competence in leadership and general management at senior/executive levels in the health sector. Your experience will be based on a detailed knowledge of the Australian Healthcare Industry and current developments in MPS, hospitals, residential aged care, primary health and community sectors. It will be critical that you can demonstrate an understanding of the role of the Health Service in response to community needs within a rural community. A clinical background will be well regarded.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an outstanding and committed candidate for the position of Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery.
This role leads the development of systems and strategies to deliver regional, publicly funded nursing and midwifery services that are aligned to the needs of country WA. As a clinical leader you will work collaboratively with the executive and service partners to drive nursing and midwifery initiatives that are innovative, utilise technology, embrace change and shape policy.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate your strategic nursing leadership experience within a dynamic and complex health environment. You will be skilled in planning, developing and coordinating nursing and midwifery services with a focus on patient care, clinical priorities and quality programs. This will be supported by your commitment to the continuous improvement of clinical standards and safety performance.
You will have a proven track record of implementing operational policies and practises to effectively manage a network of nursing services. This role is also responsible for providing assurance to the WACHS Chief Executive that the portfolio’s services and activities meet the relevant clinical and corporate governance requirements.
This is an extremely rewarding position within WACHS and is the leadership role for nursing staff across the organisation. If you are dedicated to leading a cohesive team in providing extraordinary care, with the energy and drive to advance the achievement of a skilled and sustainable workforce, this may be the role for you.
The successful candidate will be eligible for registration as a general Registered Nurse in accordance with the National Regulatory Board requirements and hold a Nursing Tertiary qualification.

East Grampians Health Service (EGHS) is based in Ararat and Willaura, 2 hours west of Melbourne, in Regional Victoria. EGHS aims are to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of bed-based health services including acute and residential care, and community-based services including in our community health centre, healthy@home and allied health. The Director Support Services plays a vital role ensuring the safe, efficient and welcoming environment of EGHS.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director Support Services is responsible to lead the Support Services team and to ensure the implementation of strategic objectives set by the Chief Executive. The Director Support Services is accountable for the effective leadership and management of all the support services functions at EGHS including catering services, environmental services, building and infrastructure, maintenance (including contractors) and capital development projects. This is a key leadership role in the management of East Grampians Health Service and the success of EGHS is underpinned by the work of support services at both Ararat and Willaura campuses.
Candidates for the role must have an appropriate Tertiary qualification in Business Management/ Project Management or related field or equivalent education and/or high-level experience in the healthcare industry. Likewise, you will preferably be able to demonstrate operational experience in a rural health service including facility management, food and environmental services. Experience in organisational planning, development and change management particularly related to capital development and general building works will also be highly regarded.
