Workshop 1

Innovating for Public Value

Innovating for Public Value is a practical, one-day immersive workshop designed to demystify innovation for healthcare leaders. Moving beyond buzzwords and abstract frameworks, the session centres on a hands-on experience where participants apply a powerful, structured approach to a healthcare scenario.

Working through this shared case, participants learn how to identify where innovation is needed, make defensible trade-offs under constraint, and shape initiatives that deliver meaningful public value. The emphasis is on doing rather than discussing, building confidence and capability through application.

Participants leave with a clear, repeatable framework they can use across multiple contexts, from service improvement to system-level change.

Workshop 2

Better, Safer, Smarter Care: Health Leadership Intensive

This one-day workshop equips health leaders with evidence-based frameworks and practical skills to improve care delivery and drive sustainable productivity.

The program takes a whole-system view: leaders cannot improve processes without addressing culture, and they cannot lead culture change without self-awareness.

Each session is designed to build on the last, moving participants from reflection and awareness to concrete action.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Apply adaptive and transformational leadership frameworks to real challenges in their health service context
  • Diagnose organisational culture using validated models and design targeted culture-change interventions
  • Select and apply appropriate change management models to support sustainable improvement
  • Apply continuous improvement tools (PDSA, run charts, Lean) to drive measurable care improvements
  • Sponsor and lead redesign care processes using co-design principles, integrated with proactive risk assessment
  • Develop a personal 30-60-90 day action plan with accountability mechanisms
