About the program

The Health Management Internship Program (NSW) offers committed, high-potential interns the opportunity to develop the skills, capabilities and knowledge required to begin a career in managing the challenges and complexities of health service delivery across NSW. Please read all documentation prior to submitting your application.

Program eligibility

To be eligible for this program, applicants must provide proof of their Australian Citizenship or permanent Australian residency status as required.

How to apply

Stage 1

Important: please read all documents prior to completing your application.

The application form requires you to indicate your geographical preferences, however, not all areas may be taking Management Interns.

Please note: availability of Placement Organisations may change at the time of either the Skills Assessment or Interview.

Stage 2

A Skills Assessment is required for those who are successful in their Stage 1 written application form.

The assessment is made up of a two hour face-to-face session comprising two different tasks to assess your ability to critically think, problem solve, work in teams, prioritise information, analyse data and present information.

The assessment was held in Sydney on Thursday 26 July, 2018. Panel members comprise representatives from Placement Organisations and ACHSM.

Attendance is compulsory to be considered for placement.

Stage 3
The final stage of the selection process is a face-to-face Interview. Panel members include a representative from the placement organisation for which you are interviewing and ACHSM.

Stage 4
Candidates will be emailed regarding the offer outcome.
