To build a successful and rewarding management career in today’s demanding health system, you need to make the right choices about your education and professional development. The Graduate Health Management Program (GHMP) provides an entry level health management program, designed to fast track your career. The program is supported by the NSW and ACT health systems with placements offered in a range of health settings. The GHMP also has a number of identified positions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trainees.
The GHMP is a two-year work-based program coordinated by the Australasian College of Heath Service Management (NSW Branch). Placements are offered within both the NSW and ACT Health systems, and there are also placements available in the not for profit and private health sectors. The GHMP offers an individualised, structured and supportive workplace learning experience that enables you to learn how to be a health manager, whilst you complete your Masters in Health Services Management as a part-time student over the two years of the program.
