The following universities have courses in Health Services Management (HSM) or related topics (leadership etc) that have been accredited by ACHSM. They are clustered by state/territory and in alphabetical order.
We are currently undertaking an Accreditation Review which will streamline the processess and give clarity to the role of the university undertaking the accreditation as well as the role of the National Office and the local ACHSM Branch in the relevant jurisdiction. This will reduce lag times from request for accreditation to finalising report and notifying the university. It will also reflect the desire to build on the relationships that exist between the College and the university sector which will go beyond the one-off accrediation review visit.
This work is expected to be signed off by both SHAPE and ACHSM Boards by the end of 2011 at which point we will be re-engaging with Curtin University (WA) and Murdoch University (WA) to review their HSM courses.
