How to Apply for Fellowship

Application Process

Members who wish to apply for Fellowship are asked to send the following information to the National Office or via email to alison.mccann@achsm.org.au  by 27th Jan 2012 no late applications will be accepted.

  • Covering letter to the CEO requesting consideration for application for Fellowship
  • Current curriculum vitae with details on employment history and qualifications
  • Certified copies of their academic records
  • A list of continuing professional development activities conducted over the previous three years (with name of course or event, duration, organising body, date) CPD Other professional contributions, such as recent journal publications, ACHS and aged care surveyor, involvement in ACHSM Branch Council activities, consultancies, conference presentations, major reviews and reports

Once the above information has been received, candidates will be contacted by the National Office regarding their eligibility. When approved for Fellowship, he or she will be allocated to a Study Group within their state then will need to either sit the exam or submit a thesis as outlined in the Fellowship Manual.
