This award is an acknowledgement of Sue’s contribution to the College and services to members.
Sue has worked with the College for many years – one of our unsung heroes and a very important and valued member of the College team. She works tirelessly with a professional work ethic to ensure she is able to produce the most up to date reading lists. The ACHSM Library has two main content areas of expertise: firstly, facilities and infrastructure planning and development, and secondly, health management, executive leadership and professional development.
Sue started her career with the College as a Librarian in September 1993 with a background working for the NSCC library service. During this time she has produced hundreds of library bulletins and reading lists for our member and health planners and managers across the Asia pacific.
She has played a significant role in making sure that our web-site is more modern and user friendly than it has ever been. Sue continues to work with the College to find ways to better meet our members’ needs for information.
She worked closely with Christine and the NSW Department of Health last year to produce an excellent business case for the library which has led the way to some exciting plans for the future – to transform the service and propel it forward to continue to meet the needs of those as passionate as Sue is about ensuring they are up to date and informed about best practice.
