Awards, Prizes and Scholarships

The College has a number of awards and prizes to encourage students and reward members who make an outstanding contribution.

Gold Medal
- The College Gold Medal is awarded annually for outstanding achievement. It is recognition by the College to one of its own. Past Gold Medal winners are a group of significant contributors to the College and health management in general. docx format Gold Medal Recipients

Life membership -  is an Award and honour that is bestowed by the Board after a Branch Council nomination. It requires a unanimous resolution of the Board. The principal criterion is “conspicuous service to ACHSM”.  doc format Life Members Recipients

Fellowship -  is the highest level of membership within the College and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to excellence in health service management. Fellowship is gained by meeting the requirements set by the Board. Click here for more information.

Student Prizes

The Grace Suleau Prize - for the best grade point average in an Undergraduate Course in Health Management conducted throughout Australia. This year's winner was Mayuri Parmer from the University of Western Sydney.

The Anthony Suleau Prize - for the best grade point average in a Post Graduate Course in Health Management conducted throughout Australia. This year's winner was Andrew Taylor from Flinders University.

The Ian Brand Prize - for the best grade point average in a Masters Course in Health Management conducted throughout Australia. This year's winner is Natalie Sequeira from the University of Western Sydney.
