The Australian Institute of Hospital Administrators was incorporated on the 24th December, 1945 as a public company. On 8th August 1990 the company changed its name to Australian College of Health Service Executives and is a public company limited by Guarantee. Then this year on the 23rd February 2010 ACHSE became the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM).
